Equity curve with regime shading
Section titled “Equity curve with regime shading”The Charts page plots your account’s equity curve against the S&P 500, with the background shaded by the computed market regime on each date. The shading is the fastest way to see the single most expensive habit in rules-based trading: giving back money by staying aggressive through corrections. If your curve bleeds in the shaded stretches while the index chops sideways, that’s the chart telling you your exposure didn’t follow market health.
Performance attribution
Section titled “Performance attribution”The attribution report joins your closed round trips with the market regime on each entry date and answers: which conditions do my profits actually come from? A typical result — “most of your gains came from buys made in confirmed uptrends” — is the doctrine proven from your own history rather than asserted. See attribution for how it’s computed and its caveats.
Calendar
Section titled “Calendar”The Calendar lays your trading activity on a monthly grid — which days you bought, sold, or sat still. It’s the honest record of activity level: overtrading during corrections and revenge-buying after losses both show up here as visible clusters before any statistic flags them.
